We have been growing since 1993 and Artifex is now an established and nationally recognized Craft Council Selected Gallery.

The gallery is over 3000 sq. ft. and is a stunning showcase for some of the finest pieces of contemporary furniture, glass, jewellery, bronze, sculpture, metalwork and ceramics being made in Britain today, with an emphasis on innovative & high quality work.

The name Artifex is derived from the Latin name meaning "skilled craftsmen " but also has a double meaning as it embraces the words Art and Effects which aptly conveys what the gallery is all about." Ross Fenn
