Roy Abell

Roy Abell's subject matter is principally landscape, most particularly the wild landscape of Wales and especially the rugged coast of Pembrokeshire. What interests Roy Abell, quite apart from the structure of the subject that he is painting, is its essence. He wants to get at its heart, to paint from within, to feel it, to be a part of it.
